CrewPost is Live: What Captains Need to Know
After months of development and feedback from captains across the Med and Caribbean seasons, CrewPost is officially live. If you hire yacht crew, here's what you need to know.
Posting Jobs Is Free — For Now
During our launch period, every feature is available at no cost. Post unlimited jobs, receive unlimited applications, share to all 16+ social groups, and use the full candidate management dashboard. No credit card required, no trial limit.
We're doing this because we want captains to experience the full platform before we introduce pricing. When the free period ends, pricing will start at €25 per post — and any credits you purchase during the free period will be honored at full value.
How It Works
1. Create your job posting. Define the role, rank, vessel type, and any custom questions you want applicants to answer. The form takes under five minutes.
2. Share the link. Every job gets a unique, private link. Use our one-click sharing to broadcast to 16+ Facebook, Telegram, and WhatsApp yacht crew groups, or share the link anywhere you like. Your personal details stay completely anonymous.
3. Manage applications. All applications land in your dashboard. Filter by status (Submitted, Shortlisted, Rejected), review CVs with one click, and send interview requests with pre-filled templates. No more scrolling through Facebook comments or losing WhatsApp messages.
What's New Since Beta
Based on feedback from our beta captains, we've shipped several improvements:
- Auto-flag missing requirements: The system now highlights when a candidate is missing required certificates or skills, saving you review time.
- Automated reference checks: Integrated with CrewRef, you can request digitally verifiable references directly from the dashboard — no more emailing referees.
- Confidential listings: Need to hire discreetly? You can now post jobs without revealing the vessel name or your identity.
- Mobile optimization: The entire platform works smoothly on phone browsers, whether you're in port or at anchor.
Who Is CrewPost For?
CrewPost is built for captains and yacht managers who handle their own hiring. If you're already posting in Facebook groups and managing applications through WhatsApp and spreadsheets, CrewPost is the tool you didn't know you needed.
It's also for smaller agencies that don't have their own applicant tracking infrastructure. You can use CrewPost to manage your placements without building a custom system.
